There is a limited number of free entrance tickets available.

Visa information
Visa-free regime
Ukraine introduced visa-free regime for the EU, Switzerland, the USA,
Japan, Liechtenstein, Canada, Andorra, Vatican, Iceland, Monaco, Norway
and San Marino. The citizens of these contries may stay in Ukraine up
to 90 days.
No visas are required for citizens of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus,
Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Russia, Uzbekistan.
Everyone else will need a visa, an invitation or tourist voucher is
required.
